Solange At The Viper Room

I hope she washed before she performed! Anyway...here is the review:
Eye stuff is cute but not feeling the top:
Though about mid-set she told the audience that she have been sick with a stomach flu for three days prior to Wednesday night's performance, there were no signs of illness as Solange performed an energetic set that paid faithful tribute to the classic soul revues like the Ike and Tina Turner Revue, it sought to emulate. At various points Solange's ability to scale high notes even threatened to overpower the sound system which struggled to accommodate the sheer vocal prowess the younger Miss Knowles seemed to determine to put on full display.
At her very best on mid-tempo 60's girl-group styled numbers like "Sandcastle Disco," Solange did not disappoint even on mellower tracks like "Cosmic Journey" as she found the perfect balance between vocal constraint and empathy, delivering each song with a knowingness that kept the audience enthralled and swaying old-school style.
